Yesterday was second time, saw him by casino on mcleod trail downtown. Next time i am definitely calling F&W. An educated person that seems to disregard any decency when it comes to fishing and regulations. 1 Quote
albertatrout Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Do the videos show him fishing closed streams? If so, report it and submit the video links. I reported someone for being in a restricted area a few years ago from brag photos posted online, they nailed him. If you can tell where they are 100%, fish and wildlife can take it and run. They are spread thin, rap helps. Quote
muha Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Charges are being compiled as off today. Officer called it a "slam dunk" Why i didn't call him in before? No cell service and not enough evidence to support my claim when i first saw him. By chance i ran into videos posted above this morning and that was evidence i needed. Him and his girl will definitely have some questions to answer and fines to pay. I called rap line before for different poaching occurence, while officer did show up, evidence was gone by the time he arrived, this time however the guy in question documented himself doing the crime. Mrbotangles, i was just excited to have this guy on record. Saw him a few times fishinh closed/protected waters but with no camera or phone to capture evidence or make a rap call. There was not much i could do, but this made my day he actually did everything to meet his demise. 2 Quote
TroutPanther Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Real class act bull handling skills in that first video. I can't understand what would compel someone to post videos of thenselves fishing closed waters... City section of the elbow in October? Wow. Nice work Muha! Quote
ÜberFly Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Be sure to copy the video in case he deletes it! Charges are being compiled as off today. muha Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Conservation officer copied all relevant videos as soon as i was transfered to his number in case owner decides to delete his channel. Quote
Batman Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Nice job reporting/catching the offence Muha. I had a friend turn in someone on FB poaching, it took a long time before F&W got back to him about the charge and he was handsomely rewarded monetarily(friend called in because he was pissed, not for reward). 1 Quote
muha Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 As long as they learn their lesson. 1 Quote
ÜberFly Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Obviously this guy has no clue! I suspect quite a few do not! Pure laziness (or just don't care). He says he spoke to "Rangers" and they agreed with him that this area was ok? I call BS. This area has been closed for many years and COs have known that! Quote
muha Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 That is bs. Either way, doubt he'll make that claim during investigation or he just might Quote
Dangus Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Did this degenerate post to Alberta flyfishing a few times? Quote
DougC Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Nice video of him "chacing" a moose calf in his truck too! Quote
keet Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Muha, looks as though a couple of us have called him out on fishing the closed section. He is trying to defend himself in response to the comments left on the first video. Quote
Dangus Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Muha, I mean the fb page. I noticed he changed the date to sept 30 now ha Quote
muha Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Calling him out gives him a chance to erase evidence or manipulate it in his advantage. Reporting him and saving all relevant evidence was first priority, there is no going back now no matter what he does to justify his actions. I don't use Facebook, so I wouldn't know. Quote
Dangus Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 The dumbass has it on public on his fb page "elbow river last night..." posted oct 7 ha. Took a screen shot if you want it. Looks like he bonked a borderline/questionable (over 35?) rainbow on the bow in April too. What a gem. Quote
muha Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 You can report it to Bragg Creek CO office. I'm sure they will gladly accept it. If anyone wants to deposit evidence regarding this case, let me know I will pm you phone number of officer in charge. Quote
keet Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 He has removed the comments off of youtube on the first video and deleted and reposted the second video under a different title. You can check out his channel page @ www.youtube.com/user/doggy69247/featured (classy user name) Quote
