I keep seeing this guy around, first time was under elbow falls fishing with his girl with a clackin rapala for bull trout. Yesterday was second time, saw him by casino on mcleod trail downtown. Next time i am definitely calling F&W. An educated person that seems to disregard any decency when it comes to fishing and regulations.

Do the videos show him fishing closed streams? If so, report it and submit the video links. I reported someone for being in a restricted area a few years ago from brag photos posted online, they nailed him. If you can tell where they are 100%, fish and wildlife can take it and run. They are spread thin, rap helps.

Charges are being compiled as off today. Officer called it a "slam dunk"

 

Why i didn't call him in before? No cell service and not enough evidence to support my claim when i first saw him. By chance i ran into videos posted above this morning and that was evidence i needed. Him and his girl will definitely have some questions to answer and fines to pay.

 

I called rap line before for different poaching occurence, while officer did show up, evidence was gone by the time he arrived, this time however the guy in question documented himself doing the crime.

 

 

Mrbotangles, i was just excited to have this guy on record. Saw him a few times fishinh closed/protected waters but with no camera or phone to capture evidence or make a rap call. There was not much i could do, but this made my day he actually did everything to meet his demise.

Conservation officer copied all relevant videos as soon as i was transfered to his number in case owner decides to delete his channel.

Nice job reporting/catching the offence Muha. I had a friend turn in someone on FB poaching, it took a long time before F&W got back to him about the charge and he was handsomely rewarded monetarily(friend called in because he was pissed, not for reward).

Obviously this guy has no clue! I suspect quite a few do not! Pure laziness (or just don't care). He says he spoke to "Rangers" and they agreed with him that this area was ok? I call BS. This area has been closed for many years and COs have known that!

Muha, looks as though a couple of us have called him out on fishing the closed section. He is trying to defend himself in response to the comments left on the first video.

Calling him out gives him a chance to erase evidence or manipulate it in his advantage. Reporting him and saving all relevant evidence was first priority, there is no going back now no matter what he does to justify his actions.

 

I don't use Facebook, so I wouldn't know.

The dumbass has it on public on his fb page "elbow river last night..." posted oct 7 ha. Took a screen shot if you want it.

Looks like he bonked a borderline/questionable (over 35?) rainbow on the bow in April too. What a gem.
