angler Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Just got back from fall BC vacation. Fished a few new lakes .......... blind. Finder failed to work on day two and thereafter. So in the market. Mainly use in 12' tinnie, but pontoon mountable would also be good for the odd occasion. Actually may get more use as found a few lakes that are a bit of a chore for launching and/or a hike to access. Recommendations and comments welcome. Quote
SilverDoctor Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I have been really happy with my Lowrance. HDI Elite-7, downscan is rally nice and great mapping, love the large screen for thee old eyes. Have previous owned Hummingbird which also has some great units. By the way the lake is Okanagan. 1 Quote
Villageidiot Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 fishin buddy 140c or 120, comes with the side scan feature which works unbelievably well. Outcast makes a strap/mount to use with a pontoon or float tube. Quote

hopdrop Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I have a Hummingbird PiranhaMax portable, but can't remember if it's a 150, 165 or 175 - 99% it's the 175. Used exactly twice, I'd let it go cheap it you're interested. Quote
