Harps
They said that they were not scared of the creature so they decided to use it as food They ate what they thought was an alien... ?!? And we wonder why UFO's try to stay out of sight!!

WesG
I call BS on that 2 headed pike. You can clearly tell in the pic that the gill has been pulled open and another pike shoved up inside the gill opening.
PaleMorningDunce
#10 is a guitarfish. It doesn't look too tasty. http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/Gallery/Desc...anticGFish.html

ladystrange
#10 is nasty. if it is native to the atlantic - did it swim up and over finland to get th st. petersburg. dont know where the area is that they found it in, only because i am too lazy to google it. but if it was found on the pacific side - that is a long swim
esleech
Yeah, the first pic is clearly a pike in the others gill, the coelacanth is nothing too groundbreaking, thats a mako shark, and the last one is a ray or guitar shark as stated. The siamese giant carp is sure cool, but they catch alot of them in Thailand. Not to shoot down this post, but this is the sally jesse raphael sensationalism that makes me gag. Siamese giant carp

Inconnu
The coelacanth is kind of cool anyway http://www.austmus.gov.au/fishes/fishfacts/fish/coela.htm Kurt Vonnegut wrote a short story about swarms of small creatures that emerged from the sea like grunion. Whole industries were built on harvesting them for food. Turned out that aliens answere our invitation and we ate them?? #10 looks astonishingly like my grade 8 girlfriend!! Hmm I did meet her on a beach.....
