Inherited My Dad's Fly Tying Stuff

Recommended Posts

I have dozens of fly tying books and hundreds and hundreds of flies and rod making tools and fly tying materials. About 3 or 4 of those (small, med?) U-Haul boxes full.

I fish but I have enough flies to last me forever already and I don't really do any tying and not sure what to do with all this.. I was going to post an ad in the for sale section but it says you have to have 10 posts.

I would prefer to sell it all in one go to someone who is really into it. I don't really have time to sell it a piece at a time.

Hi sorry for not replying to the PM's life got busy all of a sudden. It seemed like most people were interested in a price and more information on what's in the boxes.

I took pictures of everything when I was packing it up and my hard drive crashed and I lost all the photos and I don't have enough time to unpack everything and take more pictures.

There are : 3 medium size U-Haul boxes packed full (no air).

Box 1: completely full of Styrofoam boards covered both sides with tied flies.

Box 2: full of fly tying materials and a montana mongoose vise in a black case also another tool that I think might be for holding rods.

Box 3: more fly tying materials + store bought DVD's on fly tying.

Box 4: 1 small size U-Haul box full of books on fly tying and at least one on rod making.

Also: A spool holder full with 100 spools of thread for fly tying.

The boxes should be pretty much everything you need to set up a complete fly tying and rod making workshop.

I would like $500 for everything. The box of flies alone is worth more than this so the price is firm.

You can call me at 403-295-3617 during the day if you want to come get it.
