DonAndersen Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Guys/Gals, Been doing some home work on the Cuthroat Reg changes and keep running into a term called Linear Disturbacne Density. Do anyone know rhat it means. or is one of those secret Biological terms that show up from time to time like precipitation event which the rest of us great unwased call RAIN or SNOW regards, Don Quote
fishpro Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 It appears to be the amount of linear disturbances (roads, seismic lines, truck trails, etc.) to a given unit area. So essentially the length of all roads, etc. per square km. There's a bit about it here http://www.aenweb.ca/media/new-findings-prompt-call-alberta-government-make-good-having-failed-castle-special-place Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I thought it was Tacos hat size. You're thinking of EAR disturbance. In which case Taco is in clear violation. Quote
Taco Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Na, Don clearly stated linear disturbance which would be the distance between my ears. Hat size is circumference. Ear disturbance...Jeez Hoss, I ain't that friggin noisy..maybe more like eye disturbance since I'm kinda gettin' old and fugugly Quote
DonA Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Guys, Would the linear disturbance include cow/fishermen paths. &. Horse trails? Catch ya' Don Quote
