fisher26 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Thought it would be cool to have a thread with everyone’s winter fishing pictures on it. To bad it's that time of the year again where we're looking at another 5 - 6 moths before next season kick's off again (Nooo summers over!!). O well winter fishing is great and can be lots of fun, unfortunately it's not quite as nice as summer, but on the bright side fishing pressures down! Currentley I'm having computer problems so I can't post photos yet Quote
toolman Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 This is my favorite winter Rainbow pic, taken in mid March/07'. The fishing was spectacular on the Bow River, in Feb/March of this year. Photo by:Hydropsyche Hydropsyche crawls to the edge and nets the big Rainbow while Bhurt shoots the vid. What pals eh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVW72t5kSt0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmFdIHGvG_Q It can get a little frosty now and then.... A very damp and chilling -15C in February/07', but the fishing was terrific with a dozen trout landed. Photo by: Bhurt Quote

esleech Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Hey Localanglr, Nice fish, nothing wrong with the spin gear once and a while. Quote
swordfish76 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Yes, Terry. Been thinking about it again. Always a good time. Is that 2nd picture at the Crowsnest? I think that is the spot where I first learned to flyfish, in April 2 years ago. Was still brown from runoff, so wasn't great. If so, could anyone tell me where that is, or how to get there? I forgot where to turn off. thanks Mike Quote
