DonAndersen
Found in the Rocky Mountaineer Tuesday Sept. 27 edition. $3,000 beats the old record as far as I can see by $500. Don

dube
The Blackstone has a special place in my heart, I'm glad this guy got caught. It is one of the most beautiful rivers I know of and I think because it is a bit of a haul to get in there people figure they are all alone. I know for a fact I have been watched by a CO on more than one occasion from far up on the bank. The fine is dandy but a one year suspension doesn't quite cut it if you ask me. Thanks for posting Don.
shredneck
Awesome! This should be made VERY public as a type of warning to potential poachers.
Toirtis
Fantastic...I would love to see news like this more often....far too many poachers seem completely unworried about getting caught or fines that might actually hurt. In situations like this, I think $2500 should be an absolute minimal fine.
