Pipestoneflyguy
Nice fish - no doubt about their snooty indifferent nature in that stretch - certainly had my share of blank days but man is it worth when you get one on. Nice to see another Bow Valley angler joining the board !
CanadianFish
Great looking Fish!! need a bigger net!
monger
Excellent fish. I've had some great luck in early fall with dry flies after chasing elk around in the morning. The opportunities are limited but the quality is great.
treeplanter
Yes indeed, those upper Bow browns are very sophisticated fish. Every 10 or so refusals I manage to hook one and I've noticed that they are in excellent condition this spring, probably due to the mild winter? Here's a pic of one already light coloured and with a bit of a belly in early Apr..

Pipestoneflyguy
Monger.....just curious but what do you do with the Elk once you catch one ??? Treeplanter - ha - we came across a pool on the horse last week with about 50 little whities in it - although "buffet" comes to mind I prefer to let the bullies get em
