monger Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I had the opportunity to take a fellow out today that is battling over 20 tumors. It was a pleasure to take such a fine gentlemen fishing. He had a blast, laughed lots and left with a big smile. Mission accomplished! Quote
reevesr1 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 That's fantastic Monger! Live it to the fullest! Quote
reddeerfrank Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 very nice! fishing is sometimes the best medicine Quote
troutpirate Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 that is awesome monger. i also have a fishing partner in the same situation. it had been a couple years since we made it out fishing together. this year we went out fishing more than we ever have in previous years. including, some trips that in the past we always talked about doing together, like spirit island on maligne lake. he also caught his first cutthroat and personal best rainbow and brookie with me this year. hands down the most fulfilling trips of the year. dennyd Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 It's funny how a day on the water can make the world seem so simplistic. Glad you guys had a great day. All the best in the future. I know that nothing(well almost nothing) makes me smile like a day out on the water, good or bad. Quote
