Had these two prints on the hood of my GMC Safari van this weekend whilst camped up High in the hills between Invermere and Cranbrook. Now I dont really think a human couldve made them unless they were trying too do so on purpose. Prints are about the size of my hand as if it were in a Tiger Style ninja kung fu grip, wtf? (knuckles bent but not full fist). So anybody out there able to identify if these may have been an animal? looks to be both the same hand or paw. And as though something went up with the front paw on the hood to look in the front window. As Bubbles would say, "might be samshqwuatch!"

Looks to me exactly as you described it,both prints were made by the right hand.

the big part looks like the pinky side of a fist.

You were visited by a small black bear. If you look closely you can see claw markings on the edge of the print.

Rickr and I saw fresh cougar tracks on the lower Bow this evening where we were fishing. Just a young cat maybe 85lbs.-90lbs. or so.
