In the rare event when I spin fish I always cut two of the three hooks off the treble with side cutters. Tell your buddy to try that MissinTheBow. It's a hell of alot easier on the fish.

Stauffer Creek.......just kidding. Any of the small tribs flowing into the Ram system are usually filled with small cutts that are easy to catch. Pretty close to a fish on every cast, keeps the interest up and helps with confidence too. Then you can turn him loose on Stauffer.

Oakley Eye Jackets. I ordered mine directly from Oakley, originally they had black Iridium lenses non polarized and I paid $180 for them. I broke them and sent them back for a replacement pair and they sent me polarized ones by mistake. Best polarized glasses I ever had and I'm glad they f___ed up.

Mine's just the regular 444 DT4F. I probably could have gotten it cheaper at Wholesale but with the gas to get to Cowtown it probably would have worked out the same.

Where are you getting Cortland 444 for $40? Cheapest I could find it out this way was $60.

I noticed that too Suntoucher, you and I fish the same areas. Found some risers a few years back, thought they were cutts. Lengthened the leader, put on a #16 Adams and got a bunch of bulls instead.

Good thing you're not coming until the end of June. Everything right now is high and muddy, hopefully it will be starting to clear when you make your way down here.

What kind of reception did he get from saying that Drshoal? As far as cheering for both teams, I personally can not do it. I didn't realize it was possible to hate as much as I do when it comes to Calgary. Watching them fail brings a smile to my face. Yeah you may think I have issues, but I'm not the only Oilers fan that feels this way.

You'll have to make it yourself. White hockey tape, stick on letters and crazy glue. I had to run some clear packing tape over the letters also, I lost a couple of them while driving. You sure get alot of interesting looks, more Flames fans than Oilers fans south of Red Deer.

Seems like nobody wants to help the Oilers out, maybe the Flames are crapping the bed on purpose. Oh well, it makes me laugh and gives me the excuse to break out my flag.

I'll be the biggest fan of whoever takes on the flames in the first round. I really enjoy listening to The Fan 960 whenever they loose and hear them all whining about it. The biggest loser in the world has to be that Richards low life. He's got an absolutly sick sense of humor and he just isn't funny. You almost have to feel sorry for the guy though, having the mentality of a 6 year old. What should I expect though, he's a transplant from Toronto. When the flames went on their run a few years ago, everyone in Oil country was saying crap like "come on and support calgary" and "cheer for the other Alberta team to win it all". I do admit, I actually bought in and tried to cheer for them for 1 game. After it was done I didn't feel right. I felt so dirty that I considered taking a bath in turpentine. Now I'd rather take a shotgun blast to the face than cheer for calgary. Yeah the Oilers suck this year (and last year) but it's going to be real interesting to see what kind of a team they have next year with everyone healthy. Go Oil Go, oh yeah...they still aren't "tecnically" out of it yet.
