Your criticism is the result of your comparison between what you perceive this board should look like and what you actually see. The fact is not everything in life is going to be the way you want it and besides, who are you to decide what the dynamics of this board should be like? Do you own or moderate it? Your approach is awfully arrogant. Bvader – you mention you “prefer to talk about fishing related stuff on a fishing related board” but most of your posts have been joking around so far. When are you going to start talking fishing? Furthermore, you have been on this board for three days and already been proven wrong several times. I would be a little more careful in your approach as not everyone is as dense as you may like to think they are. One of the problems with CO's giving tickets for every infraction is the time they would have to spend in court if the ticket(s) are disputed. There is probably a balance point in the amount of infractions they ticket for. I would imagine they have determined what works best given the amount of time they have to perform all their job duties all while being understaffed.

With approximately 250,000 licensed anglers and 100,000 licensed hunters each year in alberta, at $5 a piece it would equate to $1.75 million dollars. That would be enough for 43 streamwatch guys but I'm sure the hunters might want one or two for themselves, and they have the guns.

If the Oilers miss the playoffs again at least we'll have something to blame it on.

I think it's a damn good idea and I would be more than willing to pay an added cost as long as I knew it was going to get where it is supposed to. Being able to make a donation of any amount to Streamwatch or various other groups at the time of a license purchase would be a excellent idea that should generate a few bucks.
