So I notice the forum is looking more and more like FlyAngler.ca every day. Not only is the coding nearly identical (thanks Darren) but I notice the advertisements are too. So what's up boys? Is there going to be an "Official" merger? When's the big party? Is there going to be a FlyAngler/FlyFishCalgary on-line magazine? Is everyone going to be asked to cough up $40? This forum is just like being a six year old on Christmas morning. I'm just waiting to see what comes next! Somebody do me a favour a get a hold of LocalYocal, then the party will rock!

I like the photo idea also, but since this is a fly fishing site I think it should be about fly fishing not photography. A lot of guys know zip about composition, lighting, etc, and their photo gear, if they even have it, may be far inferior to some of the getups some of the guys on this forum have. If you went the photo route, how about the most unusual picture or best series of photos? This way I think it would be more open to everyone.

For all those concerned with the Pelican knob, the knobs seem to have disappeared over the last week. I have not seen any Pelican knob for a while. Man I'm glad my knob doesn't fall off after mating.

One thing people should keep in mind about poor customer service is that a lot of the time it has to do with other customers in the store wasting salemans time. Some of them totally reject the fact that there may be other customers who require service also. I have no problem waiting an hour if the customers ahead of me are using the salesmans time correctly. It's the people that couldn't make up their mind if they had a gun pointed to it that perturb me.

BBB do you know how long they have been stocking the lake and what size are they tops? My buddy said triploids have been stocked for 2 years. Apparantly you have to be a member of the community to fish it, are you a member?

After wearing Maui's for the last few days I have noticed I am not getting headaches as I would wearing cheap glasses. Furthermore they fit well and don't slide around at all. That's worth some dollars right there. I really don't think the polarization is any better than a cheaper set of glasses though. I tested the glasses (same depth at the same angle) on Muir lake against my cheap set and found I could see to the same depth with both pairs.

A buddy of mine from Calgary was saying Mackenzie was stocked with triploids. Anyone know anything about this pond? Anyone fished it?

I got mine at Perle Vision in Sherwood Park. They were one of last years model and the last set. It might be worth checking Perle Vision in Calgary if they have the same deal.

Forum looks excellent, one question though, what's the deal with the "Comments" and "Rating" areas in the user profile? What is this, a dating service? Seriously though how can I have -1 New Messages ? I tested the PM by sending one to myself then deleting it. I then noticed I was at -1 New Messages. Retested and it did the same thing. Is this a bug?

Well I bought the Maui Jims today for 1 bill. Took them down to the North Saskatchewan river to test the polarization compared to my el cheapo $10 Fishin Hole set. I put the el cheapo $10 Fishin Hole set on first and could see approximately 1 inch into the water. So then I put on the Maui Jims and man I was amazed! I could see at least an inch and a half into the water. I'm impressed!!! Well worth the hun!!

Anyone use polarized Maui Jims? If so how do you like them? I've got a good deal on some ($100) but have never liked spending that kind of coin on something that may end up in the drink.

Would I be correct in saying there will be no more having to have 6 monitors to view some of the up loaded pictures?
