i can bomb out a double streamer rig with 2 4-6 inch streamers with my 8wt no prob...same with them 10-12 inch double bunnies, clousers etc....all in the stop and start....adn greg im sure you have seen me do this a few times

hook em and let em take that panic run. may be 10 feet maybe 100. the rest is upto the fish. if you have lots of fish spitting you and you are using small flies yoy may halfto ease up a bit . if the fish is rollin on surface or jumps close too you bring the rod down behind the fish trying too make it dive back under.....if it goes deep keep teh tip high...let it run and gain line whenwhen teh fish aint runnin or headshaking....reel down and slowly pull up....goodluck dude

my top 3 would be midges red black tan and olive, bwos and caddis larvae

adding weight too teh flies is a must for me i ise lots of lead wire and beads too almost every nymph. but sometimes when fishing deeper pockets and paster water...i will add a splitshot

do markers count? elastic bands (big thick wide ones) can be a good stonefly nymphskin too and xmas tree tinsel is great for streamers...big streamers
