  1. ide say birds dude maybe pike or bulls too...ive seen it in a few rivers and lakes. ill dig up a pic
  2. no offence but thats a stupid question...and ill give my reason why too jstuify being a ass.....midges can be 16-24 bwos are 16-20 pmds are teh same caddis can be(depending on species) size 8-18 goldenstones are most commonly fished in a 6-10 but theres haldozen other stoneflies size 16-10 aswell plus we got soem big drakes and such in teh 12-10 range, craneflies 4-10 boatmen and backswimmers 12-18...so i guess u could say most beeedheads are in teh 12-18 category but if the fish arnt eating that but it aint worth a darn...latley juans and leeches 6-10 midges 16-18 pmds n bwos n tricos size 18-22 and caddis 14-16...if you a top flies you "should" have in ur box... juans 6-10 goldenstones and black stones size 6-12 pheasent tails size 12-20 hares ears 8-20 midge larvae in red and pupae black and silver size 16-22 caddis larvae and pupae olive and tan 14-18 prince nymphs 14-28 copper johns in gold black copper and green 12-16 and that should jstu about cover the gammet roughly...goodluck dude

  6. thats one gem u found there taco... glenbow theres 20plus rainbow (redband) species plus if u figure all the stocking and crossbreeding that has gone on over the decades...rainbows too me and im sure some would agree are the most complex in genetics too figure em all out. the top pic ive seen in a few dozen lakes/streams but the redband on the bottom ive only found a few streams in b.c. were they reproduce naturallyand the odd stocked lake. the crow trips me out cuz there seems too have haldozen or more with crossbreeding for years different distinct bows with some cutt in em too. but some redbankds aka rainbows do have orange slashes and bellies like cutties but have no cutthroat in em.

  11. tgo i here ya dude i got hinking about that oneday highstick nymping on teh bog when i saw how logn it too for my nymph rig too sinnk in a foot riffle...so now i usually fish my droppers a bit longer than 2ft more like 3-4 for those reasons and sometimes ill fish two tine 16 or smaller just for more weight but ive fished droppers with a 7 foot leader and a 5 foot dropper a few times. really ugly too cast and not really typical hopper dropper fishing. but on teh eastlopes i run 3-4 ill fish a shorter 2ft if the fly im dropping is a pupae or emerger and teh fish are taking them in the film...

had a busy month but managed too still get out here and there each week..did lots of evening fishing with or withouth friends and a few afternoon sessions on the bow and snuck out too the eastslopes a few times aswell. highlight would be spending a hour under a rockledge one evening watching a thunderstorm pass by on either sode of the river and all the unreal dryfly fishing. the bullies are on the move...enjoy
  19. like otehrs asid big streamers down deep will get ya the pike ,walleye and theres some big broonies in there too. dotn eb scared too chuck bully or saltwater flies them pike love jstu abotu anything..walleye ive had luck clousers and woolly buggers right ont eh bottom slowly stripped. you could nymph it but you will get mostly whitties ide imagine...sometimes in the evenings you can find the broonies rising in the tailouts too caddis
  20. happy b-day dude
  21. hip-hop till i drop
  22. bigup brotha! sick fly...can i swing it?
  23. i second that, playing with big fish and light tippet lighter rods are a must, ive bin using a 9foot 4but but want a 8ft 3wt in the future...u will bust off less fish...jsut dotn let them get way the hell across the bow cuz then...urdone
  24. its just a SICK pigbow dude...nicely done and yea they should make ur reel screamwhen they get that big...gotta love it!
  25. missinthe bow has some killer techniques... swinging down is great and a light dry dropper rip upstream would be my prefered methods...ive found the biggest thing when stalking fish in the shallow the past while have bin moving slow, staying low and not grinding too many rocks or disturbing the water..if ur spooking the fish casting u may be a little rough on the laydown... try too get ur distance by casting 10 ish feet too the left or right of the fish so u dont gotta worry about spooking the fish trying too figure out if ur too long or too short...lighten and lengthen ur tippets too. goodluck dude
