    As far as the fuel goes if you add the proper amount of fuel stabiliser no but yes you should it prevents a build up of shellac as the fuel dries.

    Police was cold but lots of fish but mostly 8 to 10 " but one at 17 another at 19 so not bad.

    I also have been using the IR 9 how old is your boat my welds look ok so far my unit is seven years old and has seen lots of water.
