  1. Oh and if you like crayfish, plenty of them in decent sizes, i believe you can eat them we did when we where there YUM.
  2. Lots of nice structure, a few parks, 2 nice beach's the water is wonderfully. Great place to get your kids into fish, and in the heat of the day you can swim in the water. You cant go wrong. oh yea, and few weeds, are some place with reeds and such, and yes as the Bass moves to your fly you can see them move, and it makes your heart pump dude.
  3. There mouths are so difficult to set the hook into, you truly have to keep your hooks sharp and do some hard bow river hook sets. You think those dudes on the pro bass tour, and anal, and set there hook to hard, no way dude, you have to ensure you even have a chance of getting them in. I have no problem saying this (probably cause its in BC) If you want some good bass action, surveyors lake in kikomen provincial park BC, Some of the best bass fishing for the fly rod ever (in my opinion) http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/p...gs/kikomun.html. Also for you with families one of the NICEST campgrounds ive been too, lake is warm and clear, fishing is good, amazing family place, but note the reserved spots go on the FIRST day you can make reservations if you do decide to go, but you will LOVE it.
  4. Dude, surveyors lake has some of the BIGGEST smallies ever, early in the morn best but you will catch all day dude, REALLY GOOD hook set required.
  5. Think dogs would make a nice meal for a cougar? I think they would be a little tough.
  6. Please people Smoke with respect take the wrapper off your cigar, its not polite to not smoke naked.
  7. would agree but with the high snow and slow melt it was expected, its good for the fish. Still little snow up on sunshine. http://skibanff.com/conditions/webcams.php
  8. There are some rivers in the states that double that about RickR, however our average fish size is a fair size bigger
  9. ever wonder why you catch more whities in the winter months. Whites will still eat alot in the winter, but they will slow down when its hotter. almost reverse of trout but not to that extreme.
  10. It will be good for fishing, just think bring the drift boat to work, and after work place go for a 4 hour downtown to glen more float. Good for whitewater guys cause they are makeing an area for them. good for recreational drifts they wont drown and they can float from other areas spreading them out a bit. Its all good.
  11. Yea dude, lets see the carnage
  12. So did you screw any of that together, what exacly is the epoxy for? Did you buy a cooler to build it around first?

  14. Fire departments are not bound, by boundaries they aloud to go as far as they feel they can to do what they need to do. So if someone needs help on the high wood, they can drop in the water where ever they need to and off they go. If high river Fire department feels it needs help, it takes 1 phone call and that truck will roll ASAP. Unlike the Police the fire department has no leash when it comes to saving lives
  15. My employer will give the 4 hours (we don't work downtown). But we have an AGM to attend, which is optional but we get breakfast and BBQ with Beer after so i think ill go and take the 8 hours
