Got out on the annual September Cutty trip last week... The weather we had wasn't great as we saw just about everything but snow. The fishing was still pretty good, but we had to resort to some unusual methods(haha) to get some cuttys on the line. We did get plenty of fish on the dry, but a small pink streamer picked up its fair share of cutts as well. Ran into some spawning Kokanee on one creek - pretty cool to watch for a while. Although we did a good job of avoiding them so they could do their thing, I did have one little rogue salmon grab my streamer before I saw him coming.(also picked up one smaller incidental bull on the streamer as well) Here are a few pics from the trip...

Sweet looking creek!

The last few days I've been out exploring some out of the way creeks and smaller water. While its been a lot of driving and hiking, the rewards have great! Sometimes you definitely have to get out of your fishing "ruts" and go discover some new waters. I've seen some amazing scenery and wildlife and caught some fish that seemed way to big for the creeks they were living in(along with many smaller ones). Thought I'd share a few pics...

Great post.... Been up there a handful of times and it is always beautiful. If anyone ever has the time - scramble up to the top of Southfork mountain. The views up there are incredible...

Did a little exploring west of the Alberta border the last few days, and managed to find some beautiful fish. Water levels were pretty high still, and the weather wasn't great, but the fish were looking up... Here's a few fish pics.
