  8. just had a product arrive the other day..'clear cure goo', so I thought I'd give it go and came up with this.. ..it is what I call a 'Glass Shrimp'..made entirely with the iridescent sheen of 'polar bear fur'...plus one lonely bit of cock grizzle feather at the head with a soft plastic for legs/antenna/tail, and a product called magic shrimp foil, for the shell back..waiting for comments.. ..by the way..what is sticking out from it's tail is a needle I used to prop it to an angle to get the shell back colours in the pic..
  9. yes Doc..that's the jaws I'm getting with it..however, the colour is not set in concrete yet, however, I still have time to choice. Tungsten..yes it rotates, tell him Doc for you have tied on one already and I believe we met before down at the river..you would have noticed that my glove size is X-Large!
  10. Flyfishfairwx...well done ..I laughed pretty hard m8..this vice is neat you should check out the site.. Visit My Website Giovanne...hey il colore dell'amico. .the è unico, ma come italiano, avete scelto il colore rosso. .but I' la VE veduta abbastanza anima. .for I' m. siciliana…
  11. Seeing how it is the Christmas Season and all,I thought this year ,I'd make a Christmas wish and...my wish will be coming in the new year via..Santa Claus.. Note the Colour..coloured just for me!
  12. ..guess I'll add my bit to this thread as well.. ..it was a great morning, fish were more than happy to suck in what I was offering until that bloody "rescue boat" came flying up river! I saw the wake, but as nature is way faster than man, got caught in it...bloody stupid guys, they didn't slow down, just raced into the docking area and never looked back! ..I'm Not the type to let things like that slide, so I pulled down my rod, and shorten up the lead on my wolf [which was Nantuc..pure white] went over to the two guys who were 'firemen' no less...without being polite to either one I blasted my concern to them..and the one who was driving the boat claimed he never saw me..I asked him if he was 'blind' cause how could he miss a 'pure white' animal standing on rocks just a few feet away of where I was standing..guess poop happens to everyone but I'm sure those two will look before they leap after the what for that I gave them..................................Wolfie
  13. Sorry for not greeting you earlier...my bad..welcome m8, it will be a new change for you I'm sure but consider this, you can now apply all of your skills not only to stillwater as you have mention but what 'BC' taught you on moving water...good luck... PS:..did you follow up on my PM that I sent you...........Wolfie.
  14. very informative article Taco..explains a lot to those who no not.....Wolfie
  15. nice pic of a 'husky/cross malamute'..nothing like my new Lady at all, but oh well, guess we never met....Eh! ...PS:...Red is not my colour there dude, although most Italians like it...mine is Black like a bad nightmare.
  16. \ how sure can you be that it was a broonie and not a bloody nice 'Bull trout'...for I've seen several bulls that tried to deceive my eyes...Wolfie
  17. that Cabelas . ca has put up on their site a notice of going into Edmonton.... http://www.cabelas.ca/news_and_information/ ..first I've heard about it but maybe not to others...Wolfie
  18. had a chuckle over ur post...ppl like you are known to me as "bleeding hearts"...if you feel so much for the fish..then don't even lift a rod to catch any...go to the waters and pretend to fish with a bit of yarn attached to ur leader, make out you know what you are doing.. ..as Flyfishen said in his return post..we won't fish the ultimate quest of every 'bleeding heart'!
  19. Without a lie the most fantastic series of pics I've seen in a very, very long time, thanks so much for sharing your time up in the upper reaches of "God's Country".................Wolfie
  20. why not post a pic of the fly...maybe one of us just might have the pattern for it...it is worth a shot.....Wolfie
  21. Well,well...I just woke up to find a PM from this forum..that my "well respected guide", friend Dutchie had sent to me.. ..I've known Dutchie for some time now, his personality would not let him sleep right if he did something out of the ordinary without sending his apologies straight away. So fish4trout, this statement of yours in relationship to mine.. ..clearly comes across now after hearing /reading the other side of the coin as a *hit disturber, just wanting to be one of the "boys" who think their *hit don't stink.. ..Dutchie has a reputation, which has stood the time and stands along side of the best..Greg..'toolman', and anyone here on this forum knows how true that is, his return clientele proves my words without a doubt, as well as those who continue to try to discredit him, yeah those jealous so called 'SOBs'. So IMO..you can now take your sob story 'fish4trout and put it where the sun don't shine..and by the way...are you sure you don't Eat the fish out of the Bow? .............Wolfie
  22. fish4trout... ..boy you must be dreaming there m8...to actually think this individual would acknowledge his ignorance..Hardly..this is Calgary, and the most you'd get out of this person is rude, insulting remarks, that lead no where..too bad this hasn't happened to me on the Bow while gear fishing, for if a guide allowed his client to cast where I am, he would soon find out what was my favorite lure I was using to catch all those browns and bows...yep..I'd land it on his lap! There are too many out there who think their crap don't stink!.......Wolfie
  23. This is unique... ..there is a chap called Hubert Duprat who removes caddis larvae from their casings, dumps in precious stones, jewels, and some gold for good measure. He lets them do what they do for a while and hey presto! Caddis fly sculpture.
  24. hahahaaa...I can tell ya but you are NOT a "Centre Pinner"...hahahaaa!
  25. Pond Monster...................
