  1. use a blow dryer on the female section. worked for me!!
  2. i would have to say the gaspe region in quebec. truly amazing salmon and trout fishery! salt and fresh water mix it up and the scenery is outstanding!
  3. hey guys i have just recently purchased a 7wt fli and a teton magnum 7 and i have been pondering streamers. i know this isnt the best way to go but i bought a 12 foot rio sinking leader and thought i would give it a try. i currently have a floating WF 7wt airflo ridgeline on the reel. any comments or suggestions would be cool. thanks guys

  5. hey man ross is great but ive got a LA tioga 4 and its awesome!! p.s where are the cheap tioga's cause ive got a brand new 7wt fli that needs a reel!

  8. sage 4560 eh? well ill have to check it out for sure. Ive never owned a sage reel but this is my second sage rod and im sure the quality is on the same level. Im glad i made a good choice thanks guys!

  10. thanks alot guys, i would have written earlier but ive been away. ive gone with a fast action 9' 7wt. I think it should suffice and i could even use it for some trouting as well!

  13. hey guys i was wondering if anyone can help me in choosing a rod size , make and reel for fishing greatlakes steelhed. i do want a rod heavy enough for steelhead and salmon but that i could possibly use for heavy trouting as well. maybe this isnt possible? any help is good help thanks..

  17. no you definately wont get sick. im a chef and ive eaten many types of raw fish and meat. im not to sure about the texture of raw trout. it seemed to be a bit too lean for me. enjoy!!!
  18. these are just to name a few, -the river avon in england(or any one of the chalk streams) -patagonia for huge browns and bows -san juan river in new mexico for bows -little smoky river for graylings

  20. -fly fishing is expensive -nymphing is highly productive -fly tying is almost as fun as fishing itself
  21. My only goals for 2009 are to fish the bow more extensively and almost exclusively!!
