  1. Weak! I wonder how much the mod was paid!
  2. Have you all not heard of a Staycation, Stay on the Bow.. go to the upper bow out side of the city, it does start out side of the city you know!!!!!
  3. My Name and info is on the "about me Page".. I do not hide behind anonymity, What I say is what I believe or believe to be correct.. if it offends then educate me, prove me wrong and I will shut up and agree with you, or ignore you.. But discussion and yes, arguing is damn good for the soul and heart... when it changes to something else then that is proof of the persons character... POOR Character... I have no problem with the idea...
  4. just quadders who fish with a fly, think I will throw up now!!!!!
  5. My Brother in law just came from NB for a visit and could not believe what he saw on the WC and other places we fished... he was appalled at the destruction.. it was a prime example what is wrong with the whole scene... In NB now you have to belong to trail clubs and pay to use the trails and there are cops (his words) on the trail to ensure all goes well.. quads and such even sleds must be insured and lic'd and you must obey all the rules stay on trails etc.. there are mud bogging areas etc... and this from a province that is still about 90% covered in woods and wilderness... too many deaths and too much destruction of environment... Albertan's approaching us and not knowing a Bow from a Bull, thats right a Bull and a BOW, and telling me he shoots deer in his town IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS TOWN OUT OF SEASON!!! WTF.. he admitted to keeping big BOWS but maybe Bulls now from a no keep zone.. He must have thought that I was from NB also... I kept my kool and educated him and then he would not talk to me any more, was trying to get his name cause there was no Lic plate on the POS quad he was on, he took off at a high rate of speed , more then likely to get rid of trout in his freezer !!! skinny mullet wearing Red neck pecker head, I apologized to my BIL and tried to tell him that not all are like that.. he said he understood as there are lots in NB still.. Damn there is a long way to go here..
  6. Nice fish, don't you love the taste of cork and Fish slime.. The Photo shop idea is great!!!
  7. Did not think it was necessary to move, very happy with the set up and basically I was ignored.. you know how somebody tunes you out if they do not like what you say... well it was like that.. they still have the nails in the tree and all the tents and quads etc.. nice fire pit etc.. but a whole bunch of mutts around.. Fischer was looking at me like either we leave or I kill them (the yappie dogs) I believe or project that these are the type of people that you do not want in your/my neighborhood, they just give me the creeps.. for what ever reason.. ( that is my own view)
  8. The Leggo's are still there, along with their 5 dogs, told them they had a nice camp and that they should move .. their dogs ran like pussy's from Fischer.. things went down hill from there...
  9. *hit I can last until they get here and then it is a question after that, but used to doing the countdown.. 12 and a waky I may need a long defuse in the mountains after all this........
  10. Not worried at all , hopefully your letter will do better then my attempts.. If I am not wrong in NB if you random camp on crown land they will hunt you down and fine you, for the cost of clean up and restoration.. If not then that maybe some thing we could get started here, leave no trace and no fine.. screw up the site for other Albertans and you better have a fat wallet... If this sounds drastic then so be it , I have friends that may hate me for this but.. then if they do not abuse the sites or areas then there is no prob and I have no problem with responsible random camping.. It is the few low life knuckle dragging pecker heads that have no respect for MY environment that pisses me off to no end.. Why the hell should I have to step over your sewage lines and outhouses and stumble down your ATV trails that lead up and down my rivers .. If you abuse then it is no longer yours, it becomes MINE.. if you use and enjoy responsibly then it is ours.. Damn getting hot under the collar and the sun is shining think I will go in the back yard and yell at the birds or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :$*%&:
  11. Did that last year, send in info and SFA happened, also called, and guess what - they are there again.. Anybody want one of theses.. notice the tree not the name!!!! two weeks and not a soul in sight.. just the kit ....
  12. Hi HSPA and yes you will get run over but not stomped if the can worked right, from the studies and testing I have READ the bear will run right over you and keep moving if you hit him withing that range... only 2% of the people have been hurt by the bear after hitting him full and being run over, and then only minor... now shooting at them with a firearm is another matter the # hurt was substantial.. 'stand fast soldier until you can smell their feted breath and see the tonsils then let him have it" and then walk a way or run what ever..clean shorts later!!!
  13. No cutties any were near those rivers either!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. True True there is back ground that you do not see onthefly7, no worries just fish above edmonton and you will get into bullys .. Slim pickings here in the south!!!!!
  15. If you are going to fish here then you may just catch a Bull trout.. check with your guide as to what to do , NO 2wgt rods etc... if no guide then use common sense and research what you are fishing...
  16. that is a gooder Troop, now give me 15 gooder ones!!!!
  17. Then listen to the Sarge/Sgt THERE ARE NO BULL TROUT BELOW EDMONTON!!!!! His charts did not correspond with what he was saying, the distinct families or groups moved slightly diff from what he was saying according to his charts.. ONTHEFLY7 But seriously check out the maps books , fishin' Maps, do the research, I got my first Big Bull trout on the Muskeg River, on an Atlantic Salmon fly the rusty rat...
  18. WRONG !!!!!! close but it is not the Castle sys... attended a Biology lecture, and after several years of study it is just north of the castle sys !!!! Calgary sewer sys produces some of the biggest bulls(hit) in any drainge system... and I am not BS about it not being the Castle sys... I think you attended the same one and watching his slides he miss spoke ... about which one had the largest and most migratory... and have any of you fished up near GC Grand Cache ? Bulls up there would eat three or four of the dinks you find here...
  19. The St. Laurence just down stream from Montreal near the Olympic Island.. use a 38. or a 9mm for safety.. No stupid questions ..... you finish it................
  20. From contracted "flesh eating disease" or what .. J/K
  21. only if you are standing beside me and I am touching you with one index finger...
  22. The attached article says that the G/bears in "Northwest" Montana is a Robust population.. http://www.greatfallstribune.com/article/2...ONTPAGECAROUSEL Why are there cries of no bears in SWAB , Castle area..
  23. Who wrote this and when was it written? I believe it is very relevant..... " Admittedly, this is still an uncommon attitude, but it is growing in the face of reality. There is slow acceptance of the idea that if a man does not practice conservation in sport, he is not likely to practice it in other ways, and when the equation is carried out to the very end he finds that it is really his own habitat that he is trying to conserve. And so the lesson is that man and the fish must coexist, that the angler should use the resource but not use it up, that success need not be measured by the number of the kill, and that every care should be taken to guard the wild heritage of Salmon and Trout so that these best examples of nature's work shall not vanish from the earth. And Fly Fishing, with all its other inherent pleasures, is the method-and the philosophy- most consistent with this noble purpose." Steve Raymond, “The Year of the Angler”, winter chapters, 1973 Agreements, counter arguments… Have a glass of wine (red) and think about it for a while…
