  1. WOW!

    Very kind offer,thanks!

    Walker1....$680??!!!

    WTF?? That must be typo,yes??

No have receipt if needed. The frames are 225 and lens choice was over 400 with the extra on scratch resistance *hit and all that.

You are welcome to try also and if interested we can come to an agreement. I will just use them for driving if not. Will make a deal to a fellow maritimer!!!

These are expensive. My 5 year oakleys were 440 with the second set of lenses.

Also have Smith years ago but were older technology and very heavy.

  2. Own both also and the MJ are nice but after fishing the crow this past weekend with them I prefer my Oakley flak with the amber all hour lens. I have both shades but tough to beat the amber IMO.

paid 680 for the MJ only 2 months ago. if interested make me an offer and they are yours.

  3. Tough to beat a true deep cycle like a Trojan group 31. I just bought one for my fifth wheel and expensive at 240 smackers but ..........

I think this would spin the fan a few nights for sure. 2 6 volt is series is the best.

I am a bit spoiled with a Honda 3000 inverter but we travel a lot and I like the idea of boondocking anywhere! Always good deals on kijji.

A honda 1000 would even chage your battery but I know you said you wanted to avoid the genny.

    Good luck.

  4. Check the noise ratings if possible ( decible). I have a fifth wheel and own a Honda 3000is. It is fantastic but expensive. The 2000 w as mentioned will probably not start an AC especially at higher elevation. The honda has eco throttle and is quiet. Only downfall is the 150 pounds but I made a dolly with wheels.

I see them listed at times used for 1400-1800 bucks.

  5. I have 2.

I did my basement myself 5 years ago and the unit I have is a Heat N Glo. It is very good.

One thing you want is a non standing pilot.............................Meaning............................the fireplace does not need the pilot running. Flick the switch and it lights and so does the flame! Should save some $$$$$$$ over a standard unit with pilot on.

    good luck

  6. Myself i stay away from the RV centers.Brake adjustment is easy google it.For the lift i would recommend Standens, there the suspension people.

    Thanks Tungsten.

I also want to avoid the RV dealers hence the post.

Have you done the brake adjustment?

Seems like a simple task: jack up the trailer, find the insert and crank up til tire can't move and release until it will?????

    maybe a PM

  7. Hi

One week later and results are slow but to be expected. All my research states the nerve will take a long time to repair itself considering I had this for 4 years.

Walking everyday and not returning to work til April 11. No meds now for 4 days and plan to keep it like that. Still sciatica and backpain but again, I see this as normal.

Fingers are crossed..................can't cross toes at this time!!!!!

  8. Good luck with this!

Hopefully it means longer floats down the Elk now.

    Hey Tim

The good side to that day was we had beers at 9 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, tylenol for me. Anything to make it through the day of fishing. I recall we did not complain about the fishing!!! We will have a few days lined up in August as we missed last year.

Not expecting miracles today but am feeling a bit better today than yesterday. Not a pill poper but thank God forr the Percacet............. I know it will take time but after 4 years I think I can claim to be the patient type.

  9. After people deal with immense pain for so long, their tolerance for pain goes up. I've broken toes over the years, tape it up and walk it off - no other pain i've suffered over the years compares to sciatica. Guess cured was the wrong word, I wound up with conditions called Spondylolisthesis, spondylolysis and lumbar stenosis - there is no cure but in my case it's manageable. Many with these conditions end up in wheelchairs, i'm still walking strong. Keep the back muscles strong, see a chiro once in a while and i'm as good as i get. Dragging my arse out of bed in the morning is sometimes a chore, few stretches and i'm ready for work. I am one of the lucky ones.

I haven't taken any kinds of prescription meds in 20 years, refuse to. I don't do voodoo, nor herbal - but I do believe in a good chiro. There's alot of bad ones out there and they can do some damage - been there, done that. But there's others that will work magic - and again, I got lucky with meeting the chiro that I did. If he was a crap chiro, i'd be in the same pain as I was when I was 15 and probably swinging from a rafter by now.

I started this thread looking for ideas that may help, not looking for a miracle here but just something that works for others when i'm out flyfishing. Some kind of a stretch or something. Sitting on my arse flicking a fly works but it's hardly a great way to fish :)

I would give the inversion table a try. Mine can KEEP ME GOING when times are really bad, but alas, it will not work enough for the disc to pull back in. Check kijji etc.

prone pushups, knees to chest............................I am sure you heard them all.
