does anyone know where to rent a drift boat in calgary? iam looking to do a float with friends from out of town but i only have a one man pontoon, is there any shops around town that rent boats ? thanks

nice fish, i cought a 22 inch rainbow from a stock pond with my sage 00wt txl it felt like a tarpon , it was wierd becuase i landed it rather fast compared to 4 wt.

i was at capital ex in edmonton on saturday. we go to the trade fair and come across a booth called life detox or doctor detox, it cliams to remove harsh chemicals from your body using electric ions through your feet in a foot bath. so my mother and girl friend give it a try, it cost $40 for 1/2 hour and $1250 for the machine. so they start there foot bath in clean water within 10 minutes the water is black with sludge , and they tell you this is toxic toxins being leached from you liver, kidneys,heart,brain ect.. they had my mom so convinced after her treatment that she was full of terrible chemicals and parisites , she almost bought a machine for $1250 , i had to drag her from the booth before she became another victim of this scam. well they were doing there treatment i was talking to one of the scam artist , he told me that they had between 150-300 people a day try this machine at the calgary stampede , wow at $ 40.00 each thats a ton of cash not even including the machines they sold for $1250.00. when we got home i started looking online and found out this was a totall scam, watch these videos. i called a locall news team and they are going to be meeting with my mom tomarrow , it should be on global news in the evening . if you seen these guys at calgary stampede and got scamed into buying one of the machines you might have a chance to gey your money back buy contacting troubleshooter@globaltv.com (julie)

In edmonton awhile back a young child woke up early and opened the back door .when the parents woke up they found him dead in the small garden pond.

the sharkskin cut a little chanel in my reel from stripping it off, i had to use a dremel and make it smooth again. i bought two sharkskin lines , straight out off the box first time using it one of them sinks really bad.

up grading to a penthouse suite is a goos idea , my friend went down for a week when he got to the hotel to check in , they told him sorry your room is gone but we have something called the entertainmet suite and its yours. my friend walked through the suite with a video camera, there was like 5 plasma big screen , tvs in the bathroom , crystal and leather every where, verry lavish . he told me he even got lost in the suite . iam sure it would be big enough

Have cofidence that way you are fishin and not fighting yourself." This is very true. go with someone that will help you catch a fish and get your confidence up, then you should try to tackle the bow solo . remember that the fish arent always way out in the middle i catch most of my fish with 10 feet of the bank

last summer i carried a pen banger never even saw a bear. the winter i came across this video on you tube it gave me alot mor respect for them. i think iam going to grab a few cans of spray soon here. bear attack video

MY USUAL SET IS 9FT LEADER TO A PIECE OF TIPPET 12" LONG TO MY FIRST FLY, WITH A SPLIT SHOT AT THE KNOT OF THE TIPPET, SOME TIMES I ADD A SMALLER FLY FROM THE EYE OF THE FIRST HOOK WITH THE INDICATOR 7 TO 8 FEET ABOVE THE SPLIT SHOTS . I HAVE BEEN USING HOOKS IN THE 14 -18 RANGE. I TRY AND CAST AS FAR AS I CAN UPSTREAM ON A SEAM LET IT DRIFT BACK AND REPEAT A LITTLE DEEPER . I GET HOOKED UP ON THE BOTTOM ONCE IN A WHILE. I POP MY WRIST WHEN THE INDICATOR ACTS DIFFERNT. I FISH IN SLOW WATER ABOUT 3 TO 5 FEET DEEP. IAM STARTING TO THINK THAT IAM PUT THE FLY IN THE WRONG PLACES.

I REALY SUCK AT NYMPHING, I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG . I HAVE READ ALOT ABOUT IT BUT STILL CANT TRICK ANY TROUT. I KNOW THAT MOST OF THE FISHING IN FALL IS DONE EITHER BY STREAMER OR BY NYMPHING. PLEASE SHOOT ME SOME POINTERS TO NYMPHING THE BOW . I HAVE A COUPLE QUESTIONS TOO -WHAT RIG ARE YOU USING? -MONO OR FLORO?? -WHAT SIZE OF A FLIE? -HOW FAR TO CAST UPSTREAM? -FLOATING OR SINKTIP? THANKS

iam not sue of his last name but if you call west winds fly shop and tell gord that you want to do a float with matty, i have been on 5 floats with a guide and matty is was the best for finding them big browns . AAAAAAA.

I have a 690 sage z axis, iam looking to purchase a 5 weight rod and was thinking of a orvis helios or the new ZXL. what is your opion on these 2 rods?
