Me too but no one wants to see that......

Man am I glad this is my bye week......

If they are tied at the end of the second outing, it turns into a duel. Each guy puts on a 3 oz streamer and they stand back to back. Take 50 paces turn and cast, first one to give the other a new piercing wins I am not sure on the tie at the end of the tie breaker, maybe flip a coin? Or skip the tie breaker completely and just flip a coin. I was just looking for another excuse for the wife to get out and fish.....

In regards to the whole Skunk/Tie debate. Why don't we treat it like hockey? Tie/Skunk each gets one point, if the pairing wants to go back out another day for the tie breaker the winner could be awarded the extra point? The scoring system would have to be adjusted as follows: Win = 2 Loss = 0 Tie = 1 Each Tie Breaker = 1 Bonus to the winner At the end of the season if there is a tie in points we can either have a show down or just go with who has more wins... Just a thought...

That Bhurt is such a d**K.... He showed me all this really good water and then the bugger let me fish it first. Can you believe this guy? Then he lends me a sinking leader helps me land a fish and takes the pictures, what nerve!?!? After all is said and done he buys lunch on the way home, I cannot believe this guy think he can get away with stuff like that..... Just joking, Bhurt is a great guy. I had a good day if only the weather cooperated a bit more. Thanks again. Brad

They a pretty cool company, I went on a tour of their factory when I was in Portland for work. Every knife/tool is hand made.... very good discounts in their store as well... -
I have seen them at that monstrosity in Balzac...

I highly recommend the K-pump. It may not be as fast as a double action but is much easier to use and t fits very well on my cargo deck so I can take it with me on my floats. No hunching over and messing around with the double action slipping out from you feet. They area bit pricey though. .

Fish & Tell & Go To Hell

Hey Silver Doc, I will pass it on once I am done with it.....maybe trade for some flys..... -
I have the 6wt 9' 6" tip flex. I went through about 5 rods and landed on this one. I am extremely happy with it. I have had a number of guides also cast it and said it is one of the nicest casting rods they have tried. I had to pry the rod out of one guys hand's. I put 7wt line on it and even with really bad arthritis in my shoulder I can throw line like there is no tomorrow. B.

Backup Files For Computer
Rufus28 replied to fish4trout's topic in General Chat - Not Fishing Related (NFR)
My $0.02 I also use an external drive to backup my photos/music/important docs. If you house burns down or the external drive is stolen you are screwed. So I also use an online backup service to keep a copy of everything up in the "Cloud". There are tons of them out there and they all range in price. I am currently using Mozy because they are compatible with Mac and they are cheap. ($4.95/month unlimited storage) There are other plans if you purchase years in advance. The initial online backup will take a while (Couple of weeks if you have tons o'data) but after that it only backs up what has changed. The other nice thing is that you can access you files anywhere that you have an internet connection. -

Considering Self-inflating Pfd
Rufus28 replied to ÜberFly's topic in General Chat - Not Fishing Related (NFR)
I have the mustang auto inflator. I went with the auto model because I figured if you are unconscious the little yellow tab is no good.... The way it works is there is a little disk that is packed with some water soluble powder, it is inside the flap on the life jacket and well protected from accidental splashes or rain. I never never had an issue with the jacket inflating at the wrong time by itself. I did once hook my fly line around and it yanked on the line to unsnag it. 5 seconds and one brain freeze later I found that the jacket works fine...... I know my uncle picked up a bunch of the manual ones at an auction a little while ago. They are all brand new and in the package, if you are interested in a manual one PM me and I can ask him if he has any left. -
October Photo Of The Month- Official Entries Only

"Winter in the Yukon Part 2" I took this one on the same trip and I am pretty sure it is my favourite of the 15 000 or so images I have taken. My Camera was so cold my cable release snapped in two ending the night.
