i have an 8wt loop opti power and it handles big salmon just fine. used a 300 grain 24foot sink head line to chuck 3/0 flies . fish were up to 18 lbs, i think an 8wt is a bit much for just the bow but if u have other uses like salmon and stripers go for it. Would be a sweet pike rod for throwin big rabbit strips and such

what water r u fishing them in?

9-6 6wt demon, will chuck a double bunny and a #18 spinner / elkhair combo just great. Strictly dri is a 5wt loop aeg tho. nice stick for the price

i call it the bombed up noble...... hook = #6 2xl streamer hook thread = black 3/0 body = spun deer hair cut bomber style rib = black hackle back = tan and brown 2 mm craft foam wing = molted wing material from fishtales? eyes = damsel eyes glued between foam layers legs = brown and round i think thats it....just a noble with a "spin".........................................................

sure can....... hook = #2 2xl streamer hook tail = 2 brown hackles and a few strands of pearl flash undrbody = deer hair trimmed flat top and bottom back = craft foam head = spun deer hair eyes = med craft eyes First start with the tail. Tie in hackle and flash. Next tie in foam back. Tie in bunches of deer hair along the sides of the hook shank. Continue to about 4 eyes back of the eye. Trim top and bottom flat. Pull up foam over back and tie off. Now make the head by spinning deer hair and shape. Glue on the eyes with a drop of epoxy and ur done. I usualy add a drop of glue to eack bunch of deer hair on the sides for strength. Hope that makes sense. I was bored one night and wanted to make a diff lookin mouse and that is what i came up with.

i call it the ronald macdonald and a few salmon bombers....hey that gives me an idea for tie of the month....stay tunned!

Holy flippin stoneflies! Ive never seen so many as last night! I made the mistake of sitting in the grass for a min after dark . I got up and started fishing and they were all over me....on my waders ...on my hands even crawled up under my hoodie. Pretty freaky for sure Coulodnt get away from them. Then i turned the light on towards shore and there were hundreds and hundreds of them. Was flickin them off me for over an hour. Swingin hoppers was sweet. lots of takes which is even better when the lights go out and u cant even see them...just feel a couple taps or hear a take. Awesome awesome awesome

i also heard that micheal wasnt gettin burried and that since he was 90% plastic that he was getting melted down and turned into lego blocks so that the kids could play with HIM for once! And it was 13 year old nuts not 12.

My demon took like almost 2 months. Had to send i t to bill tucker in bc...he then sent the rod to england and my tip was replaced for a fee of 125 bones. Only got new tip section. And now...he no longer does the warrantees so u have to go directly to the compmany urself! Sweet rod though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a hardy demon 9'6" #6 and i love it. However it is in england right now getting a new tip section. Full warrante i think except for shipping. Throws big flies and little dries just as good. I over lined it to a #7 line (that was max's idea....thanks)which helped get those nymph rigs up and out for 30-40'+ roll casts which is a must on teh bow.Still savin up for the angel someday. been using my loop 5 weight which is a great rod but still miss me demon!
