  1. No problem at all,i would think you'll be much quicker then a drift boat so you'll have plenty of time to stop and fish.

    Trolling a streamer when paddling may work but make sure you have some sort of rod holder.

  2. Depends if you like a tip heavy rod or something balanced. my 6wt 10' east fork had a phlueger 7/8 it was a little light and the rod just didn't feel right being so tip heavy.I ended up putting two colors of lead core on the spool.

    Play around with some weights and see what feels good.

    I also want to avoid the RV dealers hence the post.

    Have you done the brake adjustment?

    Seems like a simple task: jack up the trailer, find the insert and crank up til tire can't move and release until it will?????

    That sounds about right,same as doing drums on a older car.I was able to do mine with a big flat screw driver.
