Hi all. This boat was sold and now it’s back in my hands. The boat was stored in a metal sea can. Unfortunately the building beside the sea can started on fire. Boat was basically baked inside. My plan was to repair the damage which is mostly cosmetic but I just don’t have the time or space. I’m putting it up for sale for anyone who’s interested in putting in the time to repair some of the fibreglass work. I have all the supplies and knowledge and I’d be willing to help anyone who purchases it.
ill up load some pics of before and after. This is boat only. No trailer. I’m not sure of the boat’s values but I can say it rowed super easy on the bow. Some will also call it Cabosil, mixed with epoxy as a thickening agent makes it Thixotropic.Available at IPP or lee valley.

I mix CLR and a little water in a spray bottle spray the boat and the foaming brush at the car wash takes it all off.

Stay away from the xylene it evaporates too quickly and is very toxic.Why even bother removing?Just re glue over top.

Was he there long or something?I have to backup that far to load my boat and its not easy so it takes me a good 5 -10 minutes to load.

considering weight and cost youd be farther ahead with a 2 HP long shaft much lighter and only need a liter of gas and never have worry about batteries

Batteries are rated in amp/hrs,more the better.Sizes are usually a group 27 or 31 IIRC A large battery kept on the lower speeds will last a weekend if used sparingly.If you like to rip around and have it in rabbit all the time then a battery will only last an afternoon.

get someone to measure your transom height when your in the boat,36" might be too short if you move to the bow or have a big guy up there.

You ll want the maximizer as it uses much less battery. 55 lb is enough only need one battery then. I use the bow mount so i can control with the foot pedal but the tiller steer would also work just need tge exstention so you can stay in the rowers seat

Download image resizer then use the browse feature to find your photo,right click on photo, select resizer, right click on the resized photo ,click select, then click download.No photo bucket needed.If i can do it then anybody can.

logo is different,at first glance its, well kinda plain.Really needs a stone fly but i guess it really doesn't matter.Carry on.

You could try BC,rig it with front and back anchors but dont think you'll get close to your asking price.
This subject comes up once and a while on different boat building sites and the answer is always the same.People wont pay for home built boats even though they are built better then a production boat.But find a 40 yr old rotted out keith steel boat or a water logged old hyde and people will line up to buy it.
Keep the boat is my advise,looks like you did a real nice job of it.

I believe the boat is still structurally sound,it was built well.It needs a lot of sanding and a new layer of 6oz glass on the sides.The bottom is ok.It will need paint and some new seat supports.
I have all the materials.Epoxy,glass, foam etc.
