just adding to the discussion, lve spent the last 6 years up there surveying almost every plant up there. ive seen oil come out of the ground only 10 feet into a dig. As far as the river goes l think that its disgusting how at one time it was this bright blue beautiful river now its crap. As far as the government goes saying we all might have to fork out something like 6300 per person in taxes to clean up thats crap. Reason being, for the amount of time l spent there l seen the fall of unions,environments and wages all because of AMERICANS. Now these americans are buying all these plants and they dont have to do anything to clean it up? Something really has to give up there because if they bring in these nucular power plants like alberta or should l say the u.s.a. been talking the effects are going to be worse then they are now. Theres no way to dispose of the left over waste from these plants so they end up just sitting somewhere waiting to blow. All and all Fort mac is a great place to make money but think about the effects your causing for generations to come. lm all about going green and disposing of fossil fuels anyway l can in my life. l really hope l never have to go back there again.

lve seen these vids on you tube, dont know if there still there though. l agree they should put these episodes on the fishing channel l forget the name of the channel. Or Jim Mclennan should make some new episodes that would be awesome, bring back iron blue please lf you need a camera man l will help you out.

The Edmonton vs Calgary rivalry is weak, its now us vs Van thats the new rivalry, Anyways l getta kick outta all my edmonton buddys that are fans of the oilers. not about flyfishing, l used to live in southern ontario and the carp there are huge biggest we got was almost 30 pounds and they can bulldog, funny thing was in highschool we use to bow and arrow them and sell them to the americans that came over 2 canada to fish. 1 repeat customer would pay us 20bucks a fish so that would be are drinkin money for the weekend. Dont bother wastin your money on that stuff... l fish pike almost everyday up north and have been using 60lb seaguar fluro for about 5 years now and havent had a problem and l catch way more fish then people with steel. my 2 cents.

The game was alright, the refs stunk , kipper was alright, he sure let a soft one in the beginning though, and funny how the blackhawks shot at the same side for like the next 7 shots after that and he saved them all. But how is that not goaltender interference? Was watchin a flames game about a week ago where one of the flames just had the tip of his skate in the crease and they called that goal off so what the :$*%&: .... They played great in the first though so if they can carry that through for the next game we should be able to wipe out the blackhawks.
