I have heard no mention of Korkers. There is a reason a lot of the guides on the bow use them. There are by far the best wading boots I have ever used. You can change the sole to whatever condition you want to fish. You can buy a pair of Streamborns for under $200 and they will last for several years.

Hey Jay I watched the video and thought wow nice fish and another awesome video. Its amazing how some people from this board can look at something and find all the negatives. I would like to look at the positive things like wouldnt we all wish to catch fish that wont fit in the net. Im sure the next time you go you will be more prepared for the size of fish but as you said you never thought this would be a problem. Ive fished for many years and seen people treat fish alot worse than that and from what I seen id almost guarantee there was no harm done to those beauties. As for Clive saying its not educational I would disagree. I think we all learned your net can never be too big. Keep the video the way it is. Nothing better than getting out with boys enjoying a day on the water and catching beauties like that are just a bonus. Cal

Its funny how people jump on the bandwagon to boycott the big box stores. When I look to buy something I look for the cheapest price and if its at a local store even better. An example is I was looking for a TFO rod and was waiting to buy til I went to Phoenix and hit BPS, cabelas and sportsmen warehouse. Well I went and found the prices to be the same so i didnt buy it. So when I got back I went to Fishtales and checked because i didnt previously and found they had it for the cheapest and I bought it. I think in this market people are looking for the best deal and I think the local shops for the most parts keep there prices reasonable and will have no problem doing ok. With that being said the upside of a store like BPS is the selection of stock they have in many different areas and not just flyfishing. And as for going broke and shutting the doors I think there is little chance of that because they will become a tourist attraction just like every other one Ive been too. Cal

Hey Terrance. I just bought a renzetti traveler from fishtales. It is an awesome vise for around $200. I was in the states and checked Bass pro, Sportsmen warehouse, cabelas as well as the the big sports stores here and found this to be the best deal. The best part was I was able to support a great shop in Calgary. Also they have a pretty good selection depending on what you want. Cal

As for me ive been hooked all over but the most painful one was one day I was away on a boys weekend and my cellphone rang. It was the wife and she wasnt very happy. She had a hook stuck in the bottom of her foot. I lost it when I was tying about a week earlier and thought i got it with the vacuum. APPARENTLY NOT! I had already consumed a few so I wasnt as sympathetic as I guess i should have been but got bailed out by my dad when he took her to the hospital to get it removed. Me and the boys thought it was hilarious but her not so much. Cal

I think the incident wasnt only Bertuzzis fault. It showed what Granato thought of Moore by having him on the ice in a mean nothing blow out game. He should have been on the bench and not given them the chance to retaliate. I think Bert will be an awesome addition and if he could ever regain his form as the top power forward in the league the Flames will go far. Id take a mediocre Bertuzzi over Huselius or Tanguay anyday.
