  1. That is awesome for a first steelie. You will fish for those for the rest of your life, and there won't be too many that size.
  2. I was spending days and weeks out in the bush when I was 14. I agree with PGK. But I also grew up doing this stuff with various members of my family. If a 40 minute walk out of the bush is a long walk, you might not be ready yet....lol...good luck with the parents.
  3. SHHHHH....cronies DO NOT work on the Bow...... Rickr- You need to start tying.....
  4. Legacy is the one example that I know of. Can you define what the "many" other islands are?
  5. How bout we take my boat and your oars out when run-off is over. I would sure like to try them before plunking down cash. How long are yours?
  6. Check these diamond blades out. I haven't tried them yet...but sure plan too. They make alot of sense.... http://www.premierflyfishing.net/premier_oars_blades.php
  7. If you don't tear down fences and trespass, there is no need to worry about the consequences of those actions
  8. Isn't the city limit about halfway between 22x and the deerfoot extension?
  9. You could move her car to the driveway and stick the boat in the garage....
  10. I'm surprised no one has posted it yet....so I have to....cracks me up everytime i see it.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ7Ue5emo6I
  11. What is there to clean up? They should definitely not be leaving any partially burned garbage around. But the ashes should be ok. It should just be properly extinguished before they leave. And with the fire ban now, any fire is a no no. I can't even barbecue this weekend in my backyard. Have to go get a gas bbcue I guess....
  12. Yes, you can win the battle, even if you have neighbors that like dandelions. Get on it right away and don't let up. The healtheir your lawn is, the more it will choke out the dandelions. I like to fertilize every 4 to 6 weeks. And I don't cut the grass too short. I pull all the dandelions as soon as I see them pop out.
  13. No, not the tape...the line that is on the bottom, right by the scissors. You can see it better in some of the other shots.
