  1. I get four weeks a year but, the girlfriend likes to use them as well as visiting family
  2. Good point, although one week on the south is nowhere near enough time to explore all the water out there. Last year we fished Trap, Livingston, Old man, Highwood, Cataract (upper and lower) and Racehorse
  3. I'm kinda torn between the two, I fished south last year and had some of the best fishing and I know that there's also a lot of good water up on the north section. So which would you choose between the two relating to amount of driving fishable waters enough room for camping ( being able to camp away from others without hiking into the bush a few K's) amenaties ( gas, extra food, etc)
  4. Congrats to you man! Hope mother and baby are doing well
  5. i think it might have been a cult following and performed their last ceremony to join the big whittie in the sky!
  6. So I think that the pools and rapids that are going to be constructed from the weir should be called just that. Its going to cost around 11 million
  7. Nice fish dude!
  8. I thought a couple of those people were going to jump right on their frog.
  9. That's wicked! Nice job on the pic, thats what we were looking for!
  10. Scary man, I'm glad that everything turned out. Lesson learned

  15. Same with bull flies, everytime I'm casting them I hope that a big gust of wind doesn't come up!
  16. Nooooooooooooooooooooo MY eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!! My girlfriend just went screaming out of the room when she saw that!!!!!!
  17. yeah next time I down by the river I'm bringing the rod because my 6 works for dries but its not as pretty
  18. That's brutal, why would they be holding out on the water like that? Dry summer??
  19. Usually I get a good look at them when they land on me, its usually not a serious hatch until you breath up one through you're nostril. As for under water, get yourself a 2' x 2' peoce of door screen and staple it to two stakes of wood. Hold it in the water and have birchy or someone kick up the bottom in front of you and you will get some good examples of some entomology
  20. Man, your'e missing the FULL experience! I wish I had a track record like yours! but so far no scars or anything life threatening
  21. I was wondering about this strap thing myself, It doesn't seem safe under the circumstance of a float tube. On the other hand I don't think its very safe to be going down a river in a float tube
  22. There are a lot of considerate dog owners that are probably flyfishers or fisherman, that are pretty respectful of a persons water. But however to every side there's an opposite that don't think about what there dog is doing jumping into some water that an angler is working.
  23. that is one hell of an amazing shot! That's one you can blow up and frame. Which group are you part off??
  24. Yeah I seen that one too and I kinda just laughed through the whole thing, " Hey I hope some sexy lady flyfisher sees this and adores my man boobies!!!"
