dryfly Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hell, those are for pike fishing. If one gets too aggressive, you spear it. Toodles. Quote

M3M Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hey Clive Maybe we should give Al a pair for his birthday Marvin Quote
dryfly Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Marvin ... Too funny. Maybe a little number in lilac. Would have been about as comfy as what he wore yesterday. He forgot is wading boots so just wore sandals. He was ginger footing around the slippery stones. But HE had the last laff. I took a major header into the river ... worst dunking ever. Sploosh! Made a heck of a cast to a riser. Hooked it. Raised rod and it ran straight toward me. Was not in control of line. I turned to back away and down I went..up to shoulders in 2½ feet of water. Landed the nice trout. Dried off after a while. Quote
LynnF Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I own one pair of Manolo Blahniks and I call those FAKE!!! But I'll tell ya...if I didn't have a pontoon boat already, I'd be going to buy one just to wear a pair of those. Magnificent! Quote
flyangler Posted July 26, 2007 Author Posted July 26, 2007 I spose they would be useful if you had to walk uphill to get to the water. Quote
rhuseby Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I spose they would be useful if you had to walk uphill to get to the water. Yeah, but you'd have to be walking backwards so the spikes could dig in. Quote
