  1. Hey Clive Isn't that picture from the time that big pike pulled Al into the water, Catch ya later Marvin
  2. A firewire connection is also called a IE3394 or something like that, it is a small rectangular port(about 3/8" long with a small indent on the top, with 4 pins) on your computer. Your video camera if it is a miniDV should also have this slot. I think sony vegas will be a good program as well, we got adobe as a gift but i believe it is $125 compared to about 80 for sony vegas. If you have a dell notebook without a firewire port you can also add one as rusty mentioned in your PCIA slot with an adapter card. I have a used card and cable for sale if you need one.
  3. Hi Sundance Depends on your videocamera. If you have a dv video camera you will need a firewire connection to transfer your video onto your computer, some older cameras will transfer via USB2. We use adobe premiere elements software, seems to be easy to use. Requires a lot of computer to run it. Windows movie maker is found on most computers, it will do basic editing M3M
  4. Hey Clive You might be featured in the next Tony Roma's advertising campaign See you around marvin
  5. Hey Clive Thats like 41 years ago, Its a beautiful lake if you do a google search on it. Ive heard that it is a lot shorter hike from the drywood creek road than from the castle valley. See you around Marvin
  6. Hi Everyone Just curious if anyone has ever been up to Bovin Lake(also known as Blue Lake) in the Castle River Drainage. Ive heard that it is accessible from the South Drywood creek road and am curious how far of a hike it is from this access point. Thanks M3M
  7. Hey Clive Maybe we should give Al a pair for his birthday Marvin
  8. Hi MKM Dutch Creek is a beautiful campground. In my opinion it is the nicer campground between Racehorse, Dutch Creek, and Livingstone. Nice treed in campsites, some along the creek. Make sure your wife knows there is no running water or showers. Easiest way to get there is to head down highway 22 to Maycroft(Oldman River bridge) turn west 25 kms to FTR then turn north for about 6kms to Dutch Creek campground. This would be the most pavement. 9. Hi Rob The phone number for Hiawatha campground is 403-628-3430 M3M
