acurrie
Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what types of midges to use this time of year... i looked some up but there are like 15 differnet types. Like BWO, zebra, generic, chronie.. etc. I was thinking generic Black would work best?? but the patterns are all so different. ANy thoughts or pics would help. Thanks Drew. bloom
Dries hey...well there's not much for specific patterns. Griffiths knat, lady mcdonnell, and a really small adams (~22) should cover it. For nymphs you got a whole lot more options depending on time of year and system. acurrie
I was thinking for this time of year... would a nymph midge be better than A DRY? For the Bow of course.
SilverDoctor
I was thinking for this time of year... would a nymph midge be better than A DRY? For the Bow of course. Been having a lot of luck on dries the last couple of weeks. Surface hatches will run their course till the end of October then nymphs it is.
