Jimbo
The original large format Blue Ribbon Bow has been out of print for many years. What we have are hard cover versions of the revised, updated edition. The Iron Blue Fly Fishing TV shows have never been released on video or DVD, but some of the fly shops might have copies of them on VHS that they'll loan you (don't ask "What's VHS?"). darrinhurst
I picked up my copy of Western Trout Streams at the Expo this year from Jim. Signed and everything. Great book. Taking his 'Listening to the Bow' walk and wade in July. Can't wait.
reevesr1
I've read Blue Ribbon Bow. I actually lent it to a friend (along with Alberta's Trout Highway) and never got them back. I need to call him! I'll get Western Trout Streams soon.

NormanMcLean
Jim, any ideas for the next book? "The Rattlesnakes of Stauffer Creek" maybe?
jksnijders
Jim, any ideas for the next book? "The Rattlesnakes of Stauffer Creek" maybe? Just fished Stauffer the other day, rattlesnakes would be easy to handle in comparison..

Gil
I really enjoyed the first book I read, "Blue Ribbon Bow", and quickly started reading his others. However, I was disappointed in the amount of common material I found in the other books.

darrinhurst
Anyone still looking for a copy of Jim McLennan's Blue Ribbon Bow, I just read an article in the Herald Today about the Calgary Book Drive and Sale at the Crossroads Market (Blackfoot and Ogden Road SE). They mentioned Jim specifically in an article for Father's Day gift ideas, and mentioned they have a copy of Blue Ribbon Bow there. Thought some of you might like to know. They might have cake too. Ya never know...
