Get back on track as far as the things I usually do annually....

1. Steelheading

2. More Kamloops area lake fishing in the Spring/Early Summer

3. Tie more over the Winter months....(So far, not so good)

Also going to work on getting my two Daughters out more now that they are less dependant and actually want to come along.

One last one might be a long shot, but I'd like to try to get published again since it's been quite awhile.

Outside of Fishing....Work less so I can fish more. ;)

1. Never post when angry

2. Don't let a fishing board get me angry

3. Become more proficient at fishing dry flies (which isn't much of a target)

4. Practice dry flies on southern streams when cutts are hungry, so I can pretend to be proficient

5. Get wife more involved

As for fishing:

1. Fish for springs and coho in the summer in northern BC.

2. Fish square, brigade and white lake this year.

3. Figure out lake fishing with my new two hander.

4. Fish the seymour again and this time not get stuck in quicksand.

5. Learn how to actually consistently catch on the bow.

There is more (there always is) but this are the big one with 1 and 5 being my most important ones.

1.0 To continue to try to piss off Rickr. :D

2.0 To never smoke again.

3.0 To spend more time in the mountains in the coming years.

Listen, ya SOB. I know you think you're funny and all but I'm frankly getting a bit tired of you pushing my buttons. ;)

Out of curiosity, if you break your New Years Resolution before the New Year even starts, does that count?

  • At least one tarpon (of any size) in Cuba and mucho large bonefish
  • One 48-inch pike
  • One 40-inch pike on a 'dryfly'
  • Take "Little Mike" to "The Weir"
  • At least one 26-inch rainbow somewhere
  • Fish Bullheads on three days without wind .. (Well I can dream can't I?)
  • Fish with the grandkids more than last year
  • Stay at the trailer lot near Pincher long enough so the neighbors here in town will wonder if maybe we moved
  • Take way too many pictures of anything outdoors .. fishing and otherwise
  • Out fish adc more than he out fished me in 06 and 07
  • Push adc into The Weir in late October if I fail ... just for the helluva it! (Camera in hand of course!)
  • Fish Police once in the fall to get a handle on spring '09 ... assuming we get the reg change.
  • .. with power to add to the list as the year unfolds.

1. Get in better shape to head out to some farther bully and lake spots.

2. Really get the speycasting down so I can do it in my sleep.

3. Beat my 28" rainbow caught at Lower K.

4. Continue to let fly fishing be a relaxing, meditative experience.

5. Find a wide pair of wading boots that will stop #*#@*# up my feet.
