Flytyer Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I'm looking for volenteers to contribute some flies to make up a display that will be displayed at the FlyFish Calgar/Flyanger CA booth. The flies to be tied are to come from the book by local author Neil Jennings Trout Flies of Alberta and Southeast British Columbia. It would be prefferable to chose flies that have their roots on the Bow or their creators are from the Calgary area. If you don't have the book and would like to participate you can PM me for a pattern; just indicate a general idea of what you would like to tie and I'll work with you to find a suitable pattern. It would be nice to get as many different patterns as possible for this project. I'll be doing a pdf of the photos of flies done that each participant will receive a copy of when completed. There will be a separate locked thread containing who is doing what fly to be used for a reference. Make your selection(s) early as I'm sure the good ones will go fast. Deadline will be the Friday prior to the show in order to prepare the display. Thanks and let's make this display one to be proud of. Quote

I got my copy when it first came out from Mike At CP. I've seen it at Russels and at I think Fish Tales as well. It would be nice to have these tied as they were originally. Quote
