chrisbird Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hey FFC - Join us tomorrow night (April 7th) for the premiere of Fly Fusion TV! When: 6:30pm MST Where: World Fishing Network. Over two years in the making with a bar set so high that some said it couldn't be done. Fly Fusion Television is comprised of six episodes all shot with the latest 4K technology and complimented by drones, helicopters and multiple cinematographers. A team of only the best was assembled with one objective in mind - to change the way fly-fishing television is done. Join us as we explore this new television terrain and the beauty that surrounds us in the mountains and streams found in the backcountry of the Canadian Rockies. TV Website www.flyfusiontv.com Series Overview Fly Fusion Magazine Editors Derek Bird and Jim McLennan find themselves in the heart of the Rockies fly fishing the back country of Fernie, British Columbia for monster bull trout and Westslope cutthroat, but the fish are not all they're after. The hosts discover - through exploring, through the solitude of remote locations, through discussions about why fly fishing is a passion that spans a lifetime, through dialogue about timely issues affecting the sport - that fly fishing can never be reduced to an individual standing in a stream fly rod in hand. Guest bigdirty Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Great show. The music and slow-mo was almost too much. Can't wait for the next overly epic episode. Quote
Smitty Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Bigdirty: I actually concur with your comment. Loved seeing Jim again on TV, and clearly the philosophy of show is less "how-to" and more of the "why" (to quote Jim). But, imho, I did find the slo-mo and especially the music a bit over the top dramatic. After all, I'm watching a fishing show, not Platoon or Wagnerian opera. Overall, I liked it, I do love the theme of exploration, I'm looking forward to the next show. Quote
Guest bigdirty Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 My comments may have come across disparaging. I thought the show was great. The camera work awesome. The locale incredible. Can't wait for the next episode. Hang in there free preview! Quote

PeteZahut Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Enjoyed it! I felt the music was a bit much but thought the camera work was great and the hosts did a really great job. Will watch another. Quote
