IMO this is an excellent looking pattern and works f'ing awesome! Look at Murray's pattern, he got tons of love for it and the legs are twice as long as the body lol!! I tie all my boatman patterns with long legs and cut them as the situation would require. Go back and look at the first picture in the thread, boatman with shorter legs. I cant speak for everybody but Ive never used a better/more productive boatman pattern than the one i tie.
