DougC Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 Well, I thought it may be the start of many washouts again but the website is still listing it as the only one. If it stays as just the one it should probably be fixed pretty quick I would imagine. Quote
lad Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I think it is a blessing in disguise. In Alberta one of our biggest problems is actually far too easy access. Would it not be nice to have a washout further south so the number of RV's and ATV's was decreased substantially? I don't think they will be repairing all the washouts on the Sartoris rd. south of hwy 3 and that will be the best thing to happen to that area. 2 Quote
Taco Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The road isn't closed, only the east shoulder is washed out. Quote
Sean84 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The road to oldman falls is closed half way between the campground and falls. Quote
Taco Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That'n been that way for a year. Supposed to be fixed to the falls sometime this summer. Above the falls I have no idea, its SLS responsibility. There's 2 highend 5th wheelers sittin' 10 km above the falls since last June. Quote
TMLhammy Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 940 was closed just south of Cataract creek yesterday (June 22) as well Quote
