uglystick Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I'm looking for some campgrounds that have sights that are right on or very close to a beach front. I have a 32' travel trailer and a young family that loves the water. I have been online looking but have not found to much that has pictures or very good websites. If any of you guys are able to recommend some of your favorite spots my family and I would appreciate it. Distance is not to big of an issue. Thanks! Quote
fishinglibin Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 A friend of mine goes to TOFINO often and love it. Camp on the beach and feast on crab. Good luck, I hope you find some good spots Quote

Hawgstoppah Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 If you can go stateside take the interstate down to nevada and hit up Lake Mead and Lake Powell. Wife's family did that when they were young and they still talk about how awesome it was. Quote
Muffin Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 My folks have a houseboat on Lake Kookanusa and I hit it up every year. Some nice beaches and the lake is extremely deep so the water is warm at surface but cooler if you go deep. Also as it sits behind a reservoir it gets drained annually. About 4 hours from Calgary.
