SanJuanWorm
If anyone has gophers they want removed from their property this spring and doesn't mind a bit of .22 fire I'd love to come clean house. There's a couple of us that have PALs and are extremely safe. Just throwing it out there. We'll even clean up the carcass as well.

Nick0Danger
better get within 25 yard with that plinker dave. I picked me up a 93r17 btvs. I have a confirmed kill at 200 yards, although the 223, is alot of fun to but you have to be in the right place to shoot that. fish4trout
Most farmers are more than willing to give out permission to shoot gophers, you just have to ask! Although I wouldnt be seen shooting that 22, might be last time they allow ya out there.
kphebert
i use my .17hmr.its deadly to gophers, easily accurate at 150yards.the bullet will cut them in half.cheaper to shoot than the 223 and faster and more accurate than a 22.that being said i wouldnt mind finding some fields to shoot gophers either. The 93r17 is 17 hmr, the 223 is zeroed at 200 for the long shots 6 inch drop at 300 yards. Just go ask, a guy today said go nuts we each got 50 no problem. An sks with surplus ammo aka fmj, can be risky cause of ricochet. But yea if we go down south I'll give you a ring.
