Castuserraticus Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I found a tube about 4 1/2' long in my garage this weekend. It contained what appears to be a 2 piece tapered plastic stick with wire loops tied at various points along its length and what looks like a handle at the thick end. Does anyone know what this thing is for? It seems like I should know but can't remember. Quote
birchy Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 It sounds like a device used primarily for reminding you how much winter sucks.. Quote

firefrog Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hey That thing is a sceptre used by Druids - totally useless. The real gem is the tube. That can be used to hold big pieces of paper, jelly beans, or even sand. What a find! Cheers Quote
darrinhurst Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Ok....currently its +3 in YELLOWKNIFE and -6 in Calgary. WTF?!?!? Quote
Bartfly Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Sounds like it's a rod from one of the nuclear plants from Japan. Highly radioactive and extremely dangerous. Better let me, a trained professional, take it off your hands..... Quote
reevesr1 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I found a couple as well. I brought one outside and the little loops just seem to accumulate ice. My wife offered to throw them away for me, but I talked her into giving me until summer to figure out what they are for. She seemed very disappointed. I also found some plastic coated string of some kind on these really nice storage spools. Like these little garden hose holders. Baffling. Quote
