Im thinking about going fishing tomorrow/sunday. Im gonna try some stone flys, just wondering if there is any other flys I should try that would catch me some trout on the bow?

Generally you want to go small in the winter. Fish are lethargic and don't hit nymphs hard as they normally do. Thererfore, hook ups are harder on larger flies. #16 SJW is a good place to start, however you may find it hard to find commercially. #18 prince, hares ear or phesant tail are other possibilities. Note: If it is too cold there is going to be too much sluch on the surface to fish.

Little chironomids would work too. The mountain midge, black and silver or brassies. Size 16.

size six sjw, hares ear prince nymph. dont worry to much about how small they are.. i used big stuff and it worked yesterday. good luck
