pokerfish Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Anyone thrown this line on the Bow? The bumpf certainly makes me suspect that this could work nicely. http://www.youtube.com/rajeffsports#p/u/1/9uPJKOGqBcs Quote
SilverDoctor Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Interesting I would like to try one. Anyone thrown this line on the Bow? The bumpf certainly makes me suspect that this could work nicely. http://www.youtube.com/rajeffsports#p/u/1/9uPJKOGqBcs Quote
Roast Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I love how he casually mentions he is in his backyard... complete with casting pond. Although given his job, it makes sense;) Quote
Jayhad Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Winston has been using the line, he had it on our last couple trips to BC, rip him a PM Quote

headscan Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Dudes on drugs, Vancouver Washington....? It's just across the state line from Portland, Oregon (not Portland, Maine). Had one of those lines on an Opti Switch. It's pretty easy to use since you can roll cast it a mile though not as pretty to spey cast but still serviceable. The 6wt is the lightest they make though and it's about 480 grains from the black sleeve to the tip. I think for lighter switch rods the Rio Switch line or a single-handed line will prove to be a better option. Quote
