( A "pilgrimmage" to watch the Habs) I have NO idea about them. I am looking for a basic system less than $200. I am asking you for advice on models and where to buy ie: local stores or online. ÜberFly Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 I have no info on specific units, but maybe checkout Maptown or MEC, would think MEC would have better prices, maybe not the selection or staff training of Maptown... *edit* I would think like with any other (electronics type) purchase, you have to assess what features you want, which ones you can live without and compromise between the two b/c chances are your "perfect model" doesn't exist - that is, if it's within the price range you quoted... I just got back from LA this morning and used my Garmin Nuvi in the rental car with no issues at all. Check out Amazon - they have a list of all the Garmin units and the features on each one. Stay away from Tom Tom nice units but not very good in Canada magelan is just ok.
