Actually $10 for a pack of tube cones is reasonable.If you tie on flex tubes,after you melt your front lip your cones will just snap on and off.Be sure to let the tube cool before you pop on the cone.A pack of assorted tube cones will last for a couple years and you can change the colors and sizes to suite the conditions,Using the same fly.

Its a cash grab. How many FF spend $40000 on a trailer and $60000 on a truck plus $1000s from quads and and other gear.Figure out the taxes and fuel income the govt receives from this. Are we going to see increased monies for enforcement next year NOT.What did it take for the boaters registration to take place.Years!Gun registration years and on going maybe scrapped due to politics maybe scrapped due to high over head costs. Where do you find the creeks with no one for miles ? All the reports i see are way overcrowded. If no one is around for miles maybe its an environmental issue not a recreational use issue.Of course controlled by the govt.One post says have you seen the destuction of random campers and ATVs and the next says creeks with no one around which have no fish. Cant blame random campers and quads if none is around for miles. Hell how many years ago was the livingston put on catch and release. I think there are fewer fish now than when they had whack and stack. Cant blame fishing there are regulations.

Point #1 ban camping. Wont work to much money being raked in by the govt. Yearly access fee ya. grab some bucks join the step program and hire people to enforce it for a few months. How many posts have i seen on atvrs not wearing helmets. Its not the law. Motorcycle and bicycle only.How many posts on random campers staying all summer. Look at F&W. fishing ,hunting,atvrs,random campers,Wildlife complaints,Maulings,Bird hunters,Report a poacher and the list goes on.And sorry but these individuals have lives too! Lack of enforcement or the lack of govt funding to provide enforcement?As for fishes i give em 5.Prov and fed are over budget already and the years not over.And as for RVrs i agree that there shoud be some sort of forestry access fee for random camping to offset and hire additional staff to help with fisheries and forestry. But wait? wasnt it the gov that started this random camping in the first place? They used to operate the camprounds, Then said it costed too much and privatized the campgrounds. What the hell do you think drove people to random camp? When the govt controlled the grounds there was very little random camping. But when they privatized and started charging $25 a night to camp in a dump.Well you now see the picture.And im sure the dollars the gov makes from rv and atv use(reg,gst,taxes,fuel,grub and taxes on those taxes) far out ways the revenue brought in by flyfishing. Rving and random camping are a multi billion dollar boost for the govt pockets. Lets move to the random camping issue. Lands act says 14 days stay. Permanent outhouses 300 ft from water ways. No fences and yet we see rigs there all summer outhouses on the streams and 4 forestry trucks in the parking lot.So my taxes are going where? Fishing regs,m Follow BC and have some balls and enforce them. Im sure 10 years from now well still be giving warnings. Go into a shop in BC and all the spinners are single and barbless. My 2 cents

I know FFF thats not the thread he wanted. I think he wanted a provincial follow the guidlines and rules. What does it cost to publish the regs every year? If albertas not going to enforce them, then put the money elsewhwere.

Hell i saw it last spring. I was FF lake whities. 2 jackasses on the spillway wall throwing big ass spinners. Trebles.Barbs and a stinger attached. They were strippin hard and snagging the fish. The one dude actually asked me to take off a fish and throw it on the bank so he didnt have to climb down the wall. Then right in front of the 3 of us he rigs up a smelt on a big ass red white bobber and says he needs to take pike home.Um barbs . bait. snagging. Grabbed the phone and said i was calling it in, They sat there and said ok well wait cause we know theres no reception. Then made the smart ass remark of asking to release another fish.

Thats easy. When i started my casting was all over. Snapping my wrist, bad loops etc. Till the day i got duct taped to my reel seat. Learned my lesson real quick.Think everytime i cast now i feel the tape being pulled off. It worked.
