  1. Haha Who said i was first year? Im well past that point however seeing some of your posts and pictures i would put you well ahead of many of my friends who are 1st year fly fisherman. That being said i didnt mean to be rude with my comment, i was just pointing the obvious. However if we had a rookie comp on the Bow i would be in as im new to that river and have been skunked about 60% of the time i have fished it, however i did catch a 25inch brown earlier in the year if thats any consolation.
  2. Sounds like you are going to start a popularity war in which you choose people by their number of posts and not their fishing ability?
  3. I went to school in red deer with Cam Ward goalie for Carolina, Jeff Woywitka (one of the nicest people i have ever met), and unfortunately Deon Phanuef ( Ok im a Oiler fan but this guy is possibly the dumbest kid i have ever met in my life, If he did not make it he would have been screwed. I have also been told that now that he is "famous" he has turned into a bigheaded prick, which doesn’t surprise me). Also met Ryan Smyth who is also very arrogant. Umm other then hockey players? Not many, guess thats what i get from growing up in a hockey town.
  4. Hit Prairie creek up near RMH, and let me tell you it was cold in the am. Was almost painfull wadding in the morning and almost thought about calling her quits but we stayed. Ended up really staying because it would be the last time you could fish the area for the year and it turned out to be a stunning day in terms of beauty. Was rewarded with a brookie which i found odd as i have never caught a brookie that far downstream before. No browns or rockies which was dissapointing. Anyways enjoy Dustin

  9. Hey, i am currently taking an Environmental History class at the university and my term project involves me composing a map in regards to some geological effect that humans have had on their environment. So I figured why not mix school with my passion of fishing. So I chose to do my map on the effects that humans have had on the populations and the home range of the bull trout on the Eastern slope streams of Alberta in the last 100years. I was wondering if anyone had information on as to where I could get some Trout unlimited or forestry information that could give me solid figures or estimates as to the populations in various streams or area's for various dates. I will eventually be contacting various chapters of trout unlimited to see what information I can get directly from them but I also know that there are some very knowledgeable people who are on this board. So any help would be much appreciated and when all is said and done I might have a nice map to show the community and we can all pick some streams in search of this beautiful fish. Thanks Dustin Parry
