sculpin sculpin sculpin! suckers dace and fry are killer too, bow buggers, clousers and double bunnies. wooly buggers are killer leech imitations in black brown or olive........i do alot of sping and dangle type stuff like TM commented..at night in muddy water or over cast days i usually strip streamers....remeber your looking for predators and aggressive fish. most trout are inactive or stuck in the middle (hunkered down eating nymphs emergers etc...) so streamers are never a big numbers thing for me im just looking for the beasts...goodluck and keep it simple dude

get about 2 or 3 dozendifferent flies maybe 10-15 different types and a few different sizes ranging form 2-6inches...they might be off...could be presentation but ide say flies selection might hav bin it...ive had alot of bulls refuse 20 plus flies before gulping or chasing down the "magic fly" for the day...seems too be the bulltrout way...

that dudes casting is what im personally trying evolving too. switch/snakeroll/spey single handed is madd fun and yes taco sometimes the hooks get a little close...its practicle to be able too toss streamers nymphs and even dries too fish way the hell out tehre in tehm midd river trenches tailsouts etc...not too brag but believe me when u practice and get it down too were a 50-60ft aint too and im gettin close 70+ on a good day with a 9ft 6wt tfo. on a large river like the bow when i dont wana get my feet wet and throw some "cowboy loops" but its not neccessary too learn if u dont wana but man o man is that video a work of art, damn and thanks taco for the new lines

welcome dude. ide say fish streamers clousers wooly buggers and other sculpin whitefish or leech patterns if u want too search out the bigger pike and browns in teh deeper pools and runs...fishing a hopper dropper rig( dryfly with nymph trailing) would be a good bet in the shallwer runs and faster pocketwater and choppy water. fish caddis, hoppers and other good searching dries (ive bin diggin anything with foam latley) with a mayfly or caddis pupae trailing...fish the streamers with a little weight too get you down if your streamers have noe coneheads or lead eyes. what type of nymph rig were u fishing last time out...if ur hanging up alot u have too much weight but if ur not touching bottom u need a little more...

sumn like poor litlle broonie dude i think would be bird damage... few more ideas that hit me diggin through pics dude...if its in the tail part on the sides it may be females diggin redds or if tehres a notch above the tail or a gash like this males war wound after the spawn... the last fish fish i caught in early june i think lastyear shortly after the first spawners moved back up...first lil broone was in uhh, when the october caddis hatch
