Thanks for all the input...finally went with the Streamside glasses at Wholesale sports. For 21.99 it wont hurt so much if I lose these too. +1.5 was the highest magnification they had but I think that will work just fine. A lot nicer looking than my old ones.
I have lost the fishing glasses that i've owned for about 15 years. Probably the ugliest glasses one has ever seen but they had magnification below the lenses and as I'm approaching senior citizen status its become a pain to remove my sunglasses and put on my reading glasses every time I want to switch up flies. Anyone out there know where they might sell the sunglasses with good magnification?? Thanks.
I've had this 4' peice of sink line in my vest for years and have no idea when and how i should use it. Is it strictly for river fishing or would it work in lakes as well?Any suggestions, ideas would be great...and I mean any. Thx.
Good stuff Silverdoctor. Seems like only yesterday I could cradle both my kids...one on each arm. Now they are in their 20's and a man really does wonder where the time and moments have gone.
A little off topic here. I don't post often but really enjoy the tips and pics here. As far as chironomid type fishing goes what is the best way to fish these?? I'm planning a trip down to the Blood Indian reservoir after the ice is off and was hoping to get some good ideas on how to beat my buddy who takes great pleasure in thumping me whenever we go down there. Thanks in advance.
